Free Call Planet Review
Free Call Planet is the only company that I know of who offers flat monthly rates for calling a specific country. The only countries I tried with this company is Thailand and China. To be honest they do have pretty good rates especially because there are no fees or contracts to sign. From my experience the call quality is pretty bad. I hear lots of echoes and had several problems connecting.
I’ve read some other reviews about other problems such as not getting a refund back. Free Call Planet offers a 100% money back guarantee, but you have to be a first time customer and you cannot exceed 50 minutes. Both times I emailed for a refund and both times my credit card was credited. It would make sense after all that you should get your money back since credit card companies offer consumers protection against fraudulent advertisements. Again this is the reason why I never trust bad reviews from unauthorized review sites.
This is what I think. Free Call Planet has been around for awhile so they must be doing something right. To be honest I cancelled my service with Free Call Planet just to see if I could get a refund back, which I did. But I use phone cards mostly to call my business associates in Asia. With them I can’t afford to have call quality issues. On the other hand if you’re just calling friends and family who aren’t concerned about such issues then you just might want to try out Free Call Planet.
