Best Phone Cards to Call Yemen
Personally I’ve never been to Yemen nor call there. But apparently there are a lot of people who need phone cards to call there. I can’t believe how many emails I get asking me which phone card company has the best rates for calling Yemen.
So I went and did some price comparisons among my favorite reliable phone card companies and discovered that Nobelcom has the best rates for dialing to a land line and mobile number in Yemen.

As you can see there are 4 phone cards with 4 different rates. The way you decide which one to choose is by knowing how often you will be making your calls. The reason why is because 3 of Nobelcom’s phone cards have maintenance fees. Don’t worry, maintenance fees is not a major problem because there are ways where you don’t have to pay. Maintenance fees are deducted off of the balance of the value of your phone card on the specified time frame. You can see the maintenance fees of each card below:
- Hello Yemen – .99¢ per week
- Talk Yemen – .69¢ per week
- Call Yemen – .49¢ per month
- 1 Second Yemen – No maintenance fee
As you can see the lower the call per minute rate of each card, the higher the maintenance fee. So what you do is, if you know you’re going to be making a massive amount of calls within 1 week, then you choose “Hello Yemen” phone card and finish it within the week. By doing so you’ll take advantage of the 8.4¢ per minute rate and avoid the .99¢ weekly maintenance fee. If you don’t finish, then the maintenance fee will continue eating away at the remaining value of your phone card every week.
